TEACH & MENTOR: WE LEAD CLASSES IN BIBLE STUDY, ANGER MANAGEMENT, PARENTING, FATHERHOOD, LIFE SKILLS, AND RELATIONSHIP CLASSES.
MEET: WE ARE THE GATE WHEN THE INMATE IS RELEASED IF THEY HAVE BEEN ACTIVE IN OUR PROGRAM, AND WE HAVE SEEN A CHANGE. WE PROVIDE THEM WITH A CELL PHONE, CLOTHES & TOILETRY ITEMS SO THAT THEY CAN TRANSITION SAFELY WITH BASIC NEEDS. THIS DEMONSTRATES SELF WORTH, CARING, & DIGNITY & CONTRIBUTES TO THE REDUCTION OF RECIDIVISM.
LOCATE:FIND PROGRAMS & TRANSITIONAL LIVING ARRANGEMENTS FOR NEWLY RELEASED OFFENDERS. WE WORK WITH STATE & COUNTY AGENCIES TO ASSIST WITH THE IMMEDIATE HOUSING NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
PROVIDE: WE HELP FUND & VOLUNTEER WITH LOCAL FOOD BANK AND OTHER SIMILAR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. WE SUPPORT THE DESIGN & CREATION OF COMMUNITY GARDENS TO PROVIDE FRESH VEGETABLES TO THE FAMILIES.
