GOTVIN 2022 ADVANCE CAROLINA USED A LARGE PORTION OF THE YEAR PREPARING VOTERS FOR THE VARIOUS CHANGES IN ELECTION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS. OUR OVERALL GOTV STRATEGY INCLUDED 1) EXPANDING THE COUNTY AND REGIONAL LEADERSHIP STRUCTURES 2) EXPAND OUR ORGANIZING & BUILD A STRONGER VOLUNTEER BASE AND 3) COMMUNICATING WITH A LOCAL LENS. ADVANCE CAROLINA SPECIFICALLY WORKS TO COORDINATE COUNTY TABLES IN OUR IDENTIFIED TIERED COUNTIES AS A DEFINED STRATEGY TO LEVERAGE THE COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS' LOCAL INFLUENCE TO EDUCATE COMMUNITY RESIDENTS AND PROVIDE VOTER RESOURCES.


ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICEADVANCE NORTH CAROLINA COLLABORATES WITH KEY COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND OUR MEMBERS TO BUILD POWER THROUGH OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE JUSTICE WORK. OUR TEAM TRACKS POLICY AND TRANSLATES IMPLICATIONS TO THE COMMUNITIES THAT WE SERVE.

IN 2022 ADVANCE CAROLINAPRODUCED SEVERAL PROGRAMS TO HELP RESIDENTS UNDERSTAND THE POLITICALCONTEXT AND ELECTED OFFICES THAT IMPACT THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES. IN 2022THE ISSUES OF ENVIRONMENTAL RACISM, HEALTHCARE, HOUSINES, EDUCATION,CRIMINAL JUSTICE ARE RESEARCHED AND RESPONDED TO BY OUR ORGANIZATION.
