TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE CITIZENS WITHIN NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH CHARITABLE GIVING AND PROMOTING PHILANTHROPY. THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED SPECIFICALLY FOR AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR SUCH RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.THE FOUNDATION IS A NON-OPERATING VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING, MANAGING AND DISTRIBUTING GIFTS MADE TO THE FOUNDATION FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MY BE DIRECTED IN WRITING BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE FOUNDATION'S TERRITORY SHALL BE THE COUNTIES OF DIVIDE, MCKENZIE AND WILLIAMS IN NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA.

GRAYSON MILL (FORMERLY EQUINOR) FUND HAS A GRANT OFFERING FOR STEM TEACHERS IN THE AREA. THE FELLOWSHIPS PROVIDE STEM EDUCATORS WITH RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND TO ENHANCE STEM EDUCATION IN THE REGION FOR STUDENTS, EDUCATORS AND THEIR SCHOOL COMMUNITIES. LOCAL EDUCATORS ARE SELECTED THROUGH A COMPETITIVE APPLICATION PROCESS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM. APPLICANTS MAY ANTICIPATE FUNDING IN THE RANGE OF $5,000 - $7,000 BUT ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR FELLOWSHIPS OF UP TO $15,000 FOR THE 12-MONTH PERIOD. EQUINOR FUND PROVIDES GRANTS TO FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHER CIVIC MINDED ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS LOCAL AREA AS NEEDED.
THE JOHN & ELAINE ANDRIST CHARITABLE TRUST FUND OF THE NWNDCF SEEKS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES OF NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA. WE DO THIS THROUGH OUR SEMI-ANNUAL COMMUNITY INVESTMENTS, IN WHICH WE PROVIDE FUNDING IN THE FOLLOWING FOCUS AREAS: ARTS, CULTURE AND CREATIVITY, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION.
COMMUNITY RECOVERY MINI-GRANT APPLICATIONOUR COMMUNITY RECOVERY MINI-GRANTS ARE DIRECTED SPECIFICALLY TOWARD SMALL, QUICK-ACTION PROJECTS THAT WILL ENHANCE OR HELP YOUR COMMUNITY AS YOU MOVE TOWARD RECOVERY FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE MAXIMUM GRANT AWARD IS $2,500 FOR SPECIFIC PROJECTS, AND ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS OF GRANT FUNDS ARE NONPROFITS (501C3,501C4); GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES; AND UNINCORPORATED COMMUNITY GROUPS WITH AN APPROPRIATE FISCAL SPONSOR.
