EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH:ONE OF OUR 2021 EDUCATION GOALS WAS TO EXPAND OUR SELECTION OF MULTI-MEDIA EDUCATIONAL TOOLS IN SPANISH. THAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE ENGAGEMENT OF A HISPANIC MARKETING AGENCY TO RE-DEVELOP AND RE-INTRODUCE SPANISH-LANGUAGE EDUCATIONAL TOOLS. THESE INCLUDED: FULL LENGTH EDUCATIONAL VIDEO, MEDICAL EXPERT VIDEO, PATIENT-STORY-EXPERIENCE VIDEOS, 40+ PATIENT Q&A'S, AND NEWLY DESIGNED AND TARGETED SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS. WE HAVE ADDITIONALLY EXPANDED THE NUMBER OF LANGUAGES TO 20+ THAT OUR PATIENT EDUCATION TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE IN.A NEW VIDEO COLLECTION, "DENSEBREASTDIARIES" WAS LAUNCHED, WHICH IS A COLLECTION OF SOCIAL MEDIA LENGTH "DENSE BREAST" CANCER SURVIVOR STORIES PROMOTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.OUR OUTREACH IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH REGULARLY SCHEDULED FACEBOOK, TWITTER, LINKEDIN, INSTAGRAM POSTS AND A GOOGLE GRANT CAMPAIGN IS ONGOING. THE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS ENGAGE THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY SHARING INFORMATION ABOUT DENSE BREASTS AND DIRECTING THOSE WITH QUESTIONS TO THE WEBSITE AS A RESOURCE. THE GOOGLE GRANT CAMPAIGN WORKS TO ENSURE THAT INTERNET SEARCHES OF RELEVANT TERMS DIRECTS VIEWERS TO THE DENSEBREAST-INFO.ORG WEBSITE. THE WEBSITE NOW RANKS AS A TOP SEARCH RESULT FOR RELEVANT SEARCH TERMS. ADDITIONALLY, A HIGHLIGHT OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN WAS A ONE-DAY SOCIAL MEDIA PATIENT EDUCATION CAMPAIGN BLITZ, #DENSEBREASTDAY. THE ONE-DAY SOCIAL MEDIA EDUCATION INITIATIVE WAS THE RESULT OF COLLABORATION WITH THE YALE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE. ADDITIONALLY, A DB-I CREATED ON-DEMAND CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE FOR DOCTORS, RNS AND RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGISTS WAS DEVELOPED AND LAUNCHED. AWARENESS AND PROMOTION OF THE COURSE WAS ACCOMPLISHED VIA PAID ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS IN JAMA, MEDICAL SPECIALTY NEWSLETTERS, SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITES. THE COURSE WAS EXTREMELY WELL RECEIVED AND CONTINUES TO EXPERIENCE ROBUST ENROLLMENT.ADDITIONALLY, TO SPECIFICALLY REACH MAMMOGRAM REFERRING PROVIDERS (USUALLY OB/GYNS), AT THE INVITATION OF OBG MANAGEMENT MAGAZINE, WE DEVELOPED A MONTHLY EDUCATION COLUMN, "IN THE KNOW WITH DENSE BREAST INFO" AUTHORED BY OUR DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AND EPIDEMIOLOGY RESEARCH.
