THE STUDENT RECOVERY PROGRAM IS A DROPOUT PREVENTION PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SOCIO-EMOTIONAL AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE AT-RISK FOR DROPPING OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL.

STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR THIS COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM ARE IDENTIFIED DURING THEIR FRESHMAN YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL BASED ON POOR ATTENDANCE, ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL DISENGAGEMENT FROM SCHOOL, POOR BEHAVIOR, AND NUMEROUS COURSE FAILURES. STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE STUDENT RECOVERY PROGRAM AND UPON ACCEPTANCE THEY ARE PROVIDED WITH ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND A COMPREHENSIVE SKILLS RECOVERY IN LANGUAGE ARTS AND MATH UNTIL THEY GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL.
