THE CEDARS UNION PROVIDES A HUB FOR PROMOTING THE ARTS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SPACE AND TOOLS TO ARTISTS. A WORKSPACE IS PROVIDED WITH TOOLS. AN INCUBATOR PROGRAM IS PROVIDED TO TEACH AND TRAIN ARTISTS AND PROVIDE FOR THEM A SUPPORTING ATMOSPHERE TO ENCOURAGE THEIR GROWTH IN THE ARTS. ARTISTS MAY EXPLORE AND GROW WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH OTHER ARTISTS AND GAIN KNOWLEGDE, AS WELL AS CRITIQUES. OPEN STUDIO EVENTS ARE HOSTED TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC TO VIEW THE ARTISTS WORK AND TO BE INTRODUCED TO THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS.
PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE HOSTED THAT PROMOTE AND RAISE AWARENESS OF THE ARTS. THESE INCLUDE WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS ARE CONDUCTED TO EDUCATE ARTISTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN VARIOUS ART FORMS AND IN THE USE OF AVAILABLE TOOLS FOR CREATING ART. PROGRAMS ARE ALSO PROVIDED TO ASSIST THE ARTS COMMUNITY IN UNDERSTANDING THE BUSINESS SIDE OF THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING PROGRAMS ON CREATING AND OPERATING ARTS PROGRAMS TO PROTECTING ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS THROUGH COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS.
