PROVIDE EDUCATION, SCHOLARSHIPS AND MATERIALS EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANDERSON SCHOOL DISTRICT FIVE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ANDERSON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ENHANCE ADVANCED MANUFACTURING LEARNING (INCLUDING MACHINE TOOLS, MECHATRONICS, AND BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY), PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR LABS, AND SUPPORT THE PROJECT THE WAY COMPUTER SCIENCE PROGRAM.


ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDS WERE MADE AVAILABLE FOR SUPPLIES PURCHASES, ATHLETICS, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND THE LEARNING LAB.


THE STEM PROJECTS AND RELATED TEACHER GRANTS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT STEM PROJECTS INCLUDING AWARDING TEACHERS WITH FUNDS TO USE FOR THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES.


THE HOMELESS AND NEEDY STUDENT PROGRAM PROVIDES HELP FOR STUDENTS WHEN FEDERAL PROGRAM MONEY CANNOT BE USED DUE TO RESTRICTIONS. ASSISTANCE CAN INCLUDE ITEMS SUCH AS BUS PASSES, FOOD, MOTEL STAYS UNTIL TEMPORARY PLACEMENT IS FOUND, TELEPHONE COSTS, AND SUPPLIES. IT ALSO INCLUDES A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO FILL ANY IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL NEEDS FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF AS DETERMINED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S COMMUNITY OUTREACH DIVISION.
