WATER IS OUR RIGHT - CLEAN WATER PROGRAM - 12 DEEP-WELL BOREHOLES DRILLED, INCLUDING ONE SOLAR-POWERED SYSTEM PROVIDING DEPENDABLE CLEAN WATER FOR A PUBLIC, SECONDARY BOARDING SCHOOL IN MALAWI. IN TOTAL, PROVIDING ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER FOR 6,305 PEOPLE. CONTINUED SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING AND MAINTENANCE OF EXISTING 43 WELLS. TRAINED AND DISTRIBUTED 51 SAWYER WATER FILTERS TO FAMILIES TOO REMOTE TO BENEFIT FROM EXISTING WATER PUMPS.


STRENGTHENING SCHOOLS - CREATING QUALITY EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS - COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO SCHOOL BLOCKS AND LATRINES FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN MALAWI AND BURKINA FASO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BUILDON. PROCURED AND DISTRIBUTED A TOTAL OF 2,198 LOCAL TEXTBOOKS AND TEACHER GUIDES ACROSS TWO PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN MALAWI.


EDUCATION IS POWER - STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM - 171 STUDENTS IN THE '22 - '23 SCHOOL YEAR PROVIDED WITH THE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT NECESSARY TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND WORK TOWARDS HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION. SEVEN OF OUR STUDENTS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SECONDARY SCHOOL.


SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE - COMMUNITY FARM PROJECT - CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF OUR 11+ ACRE SOLAR-IRRIGATED, COMMUNITY FARM IN BURKINA FASO INCLUDING THE COMPLETION OF NINE WATER CATCHMENTS AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW INDIVIDUAL PLOT ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE.
