ADVOCATES FOR WORLD HEALTH IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEM WORLDWIDE WHILE PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARSHIP. AWH ACHIEVES THIS THROUGH BROKERING MEDICAL PRODUCTS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS WORLDWIDE. BY REDIRECTING USABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE WASTE STREAM TO FOREIGN HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, AWH IS LOWERING OVERHEAD COST, IMPROVING ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE, STRENGTHENING THE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND ENGAGING IN ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES.
