THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS THREE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, LEAD, WE SPEAK WE LEAD, AND BRIDGE TO LEAD, TO ADDRESS THE TOP BARRIERS IMMIGRANT WOMEN FACE WHEN SEEKING MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT OR HIGHER EDUCATION IN NEW YORK CITY. IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAMS OFFER SUPPORT AND PREPARATION TO NEGOTIATE THE TRANSITION TO A MEANINGFUL JOB OR TO PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING SOFT SKILLS TRAINING, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, AND SUPPORT TAILORED TO PARTICIPANTS' INDIVUDUAL NEEDS AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS. THE PROGRAMS ALSO CREATE CONNECTIONS AND COMMNUNITY AMONGST THE DIVERSE GROUP OF IMMIGRANT WOMEN WHO OFTEN COME TO NYC WITHOUT FAMILY, FRIENDS, OR NETWORKS.
THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO CREATE A SAFE, INCLUSIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SPACE FOR IMMIGRANT WOMEN TO MEET AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER WHILE LEARNING TO SPEAK UP ABOUT THE ISSUES THEY CARE FOR. THROUGH COMMUNITY BUILDING AND EDUCATION, THE ORGANZATION OFFERS IMPORTANT SUPPORT AND CRITICAL INFORMATION TO THE IMMIGRANT WOMEN IT SERVES, EQUIPPING THEM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, CONFIDENCE, AND SKILLS NECESSARY TO GAIN ACCESS TO NEEDED RESOURCES AND ADJUST TO THEIR NEW LIFE IN NYC, DEFINING THEIR RIGHTS, AND ENSURE THE SAFETY AND STRENGTH OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.
