MTI OPERATES A CHURCH. IN 2023, IT FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING PROGRAMS, LAYING GROUNDWORK, RECEIVING TRAINING, CONDUCTING IN-HOUSE TRAINING, AND FORMING LEADERSHIP TEAMS TO ENHANCE INTERVENTIONS FOR MARGINALIZED INDIVIDUALS. MTI INVESTED IN LEADER DEVELOPMENT TO PREPARE FOR THE LAUNCH OF CROSS OVER COACHING, WHICH PROVIDES PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR FOSTER CHILDREN, PARENTS, AND OLDER FOSTER YOUTH CURRENTLY IN OR CLOSE TO AGING OUT OF THE SYSTEM. MTI HAS A DEDICATED INDIVIDUAL LEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS OUTREACH AREA, AND IS SEEKING A BUILDING FOR OFFICE SPACE, TRAINING, AND FREE CLOTHING DISTRIBUTION FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER HOMES. TWO THERAPISTS ARE PREPARED TO BEGIN PARENTING CLASSES IN MAY, AIMING TO BECOME A COURT-APPROVED FOSTER PARENT TRAINING PROGRAM. MTI COLLABORATES WITH REALTORS TO SECURE REDUCED-COST RENTAL SPACE. DESPITE A DECREASE IN CHURCH ATTENDANCE DURING THE PANDEMIC, MTI'S CHURCH IS GROWING, WITH A HOMELESS MINISTRY LEADER IN PLACE AND INCREASED INVOLVEMENT. THE FOOD AND REFRESHMENT BUDGET INCREASED TO SUPPORT VARIOUS MINISTRY EVENTS.
