THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO DISCOVER AND ADVANCE INVENTIVE AND EFFECTIVE WAYS OF HELPING PEOPLE HELP THEMSELVES AND THOSE AROUND THEM LEAD PRODUCTIVE AND SATISFYING LIVES BY CONTRIBUTING IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND MEDICAL RESEARCH.IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION, THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO BUILDING VIBRANT COMMUNITIES BY INVOLVING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN PROGRAMS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE REVITALIZATION OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND TO THE WELL-BEING OF ITS RESIDENTS.
