WE CURRENTLY HAVE ONE HAITIAN STUDENT IN THE UNITED STATES ATTENDING NURSING SCHOOL. WE HAVE A POTENTIAL STUDENT COMING TO THE US IN 2023, ASSUMING THE POLITICAL UNREST IN HAITI ALLOWS SUCH TRAVEL. TWO PREVIOUS STUDENTS HAVE GRADUATED FROM PROGRAMS IN THE US, OBTAINED EMPLOYMENT FROM AN NGO IN THE UNITED STATES AND HAVE RETURNED TO HAITI TO FULFILL THEIR CAREERS. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RAISE FUNDS FROM INDIVIDUAL DONORS TO PROVIDE CLOTHING & SUNDRIES, HEALTH INSURANCE, MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE, SCHOOL MEALS, AND TUITION, BOOKS AND FEES FOR THEM DURING PREVIOUS YEARS.
