THE FESTIVAL'S MISSION RECOGNIZES AND SUPPORTS THE POWER OF FILM TO INSPIRE, EDUCATE, AND ENGAGE AUDIENCES OF DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND PERSPECTIVES TO HELP BUILD NEW BRIDGES OF EMPATHY AND UNDERSTANDING.

MFF'S PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS PRODUCING A 4-DAY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IN THE TOWN OF MIDDLEBURG, VA. THE FESTIVAL SHOWCASES INDEPENDENT FILMS SELECTED FOR THEIR EXCEPTIONAL CRAFT AND STORYTELLING. BOTH NARRATIVE AND DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILMS ARE SCREENED THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY OF MIDDLEBURG. THE FESTIVAL PROVIDES NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE IN BOTH STRUCTURED AND INFORMAL DIALOGUE WITH DISTINGUISHED FILMMAKERS, ACTORS, MEMBERS OF THE FILM INDUSTRY, THOUGHT LEADERS, AND OTHERS.
