THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION WAS THE MAIN FUNDRAISER FOR THE ZONTA CLUB THIS FISCAL YEAR. THE EVENT ALLOWED OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEMSELVES TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH NO COST BOOTHS. THE EVENT WAS FREE OF CHARGE TO THE PUBLIC AS WELL, WITH PROCEEDS BEING RAISED THROUGH A SILENT AUCTION. PROCEEDS WERE THEN DONATED ONE THIRD TO ZONTA INTERNATIONAL TO SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S ISSUES, 2,000 TO SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO LOCAL STUDENTS AND THE REST WAS DONATED BACK TO THE COMMUNITY TO SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE MISSION OF ZONTA, WHICH IS TO ADVANCE THE STATUS OF WOMEN.
