THE UTAH BLUES SOCIETY MISSION IS TO PRESERVE BLUES HERITAGE, CELEBRATE BLUES RECORDING AND PERFORMANCE, EXPAND STATEWIDE AWARENESS OF THE BLUES, AND ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THIS UNIQUELY AMERICAN ART FORM.

THE ANNUAL UTAH BLUES FESTIVAL IS THE UTAH BLUES SOCIETY'S SIGNATURE EVENT AND THE ONLY BLUES FESTIVAL IN THE STATE OF UTAH. THE TWO-DAY FESTIVAL PRESENTS WELL-KNOW REGIONAL AND NATIONAL ARTISTS WHO BRING THEIR UNIQUE FLAVOR OF BLUES MUSIC TO SALT LAKE. ADJACENT TO THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS, FREE WORKSHOPS ARE OFFERED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND INCLUDE MUSIC DEMONSTRATIONS, HARMONICA LESSIONS (WITH FREE HARMONICA), AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS ON IMPORTANT CULTURAL AND SOCIAL TOPICS. FOR A NIMILA FEE, PARTICIPATS CAN CRAFT THEIR OWN CIGAR-BOX GUITAR. IN 2023, THE UTAH BLUES FESTIVAL ATTRACTED OVER 2,500 GUESTS.
