THE EMERGENCY MEDICINE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION OF NORTHEAST INDIANA WAS FOUNDED SPECIFICALLY TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT OF ALL PHYSICIANS WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO PRACTICE IN THE SPECIALTY OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE. THIS SUPPORT INCLUDES FUNDING FOR EDUCATIONAL SPEAKERS AND CONSULTANTS, SYMPOSIUMS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT WILL ADVANCE THE CLINICAL SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENTS OF THESE PHYSICIANS. THE FOUNDATION'S EDUCATIONAL MISSION IS DESIGNED TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT THE INCREASED QUALITY OF MEDICAL CARE RECEIVED BY PATIENTS PRESENTING TO ALL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS IN NORTHEAST INDIANA.

DURING THE FISCAL YEAR OF 2022, THE ORGANIZATION GRADUATED WITH FIVE CERTIFIED EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT FELLOWS. THE ORGANIZATION WELCOMES SIX ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT FELLOWS FOR THE START OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR. OF ALL THE FELLOWS THAT HAVE GRADUATED AND TAKEN THE BOARDS 100% HAVE PASSED. THE ORGANIZATION IS THE ONLY EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IN NORTHEAST INDIANA AND IS CERTIFIED WITH THE AMERICAN BOARD OF PHYSICIANS SPECIALTIES.
