TO EDUCATE RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES IN COMMUNITIES NEAR THE PINE NUT MOUNTAIN RANGE IN NEVADA ABOUT LIVING IN AREAS WHERE WILD HORSES AND BURROS EXIST SO THAT THEIR ACTIONS OR INTENTION DO NOT JEOPARDIZE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF HERDS OR OF OTHER AREA RESIDENTS. B. TO EDUCATE QUALIFIED VOLUNTEERS ON HOW TO WORK WITH THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT AND OTHER AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS, IN A COLLABORATIVE MANNER FOR POPULATION ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF HERD MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES WHICH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WILL PRESERVE THE HERDS IN A NATURAL AND WILD HABITAT.
