EAL PROTECTS WILDLIFE THROUGH EFFECTIVE INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION AND INVESTIGATIVE EFFORTS.

WILDLIFE CRIME: RESEARCH, INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS OF VARIOUS WILLDIFE CRIME AND ILLEGAL SUPPLY CHAINS. WE LAUNCHED SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT INVESTIGATIVE OPERATIONS ON WILDLIFE CRIME OF THE PAST YEARS: OPERATION FAKE GOLD: ILLEGAL FISHING IN MEXICO AND TOTOABA TRAFFICKING FROM MEXICO TO ASIA; OPERATION JAGUAR: POACHING AND TRAFFICKING OF JAGUARS AND OTHER WILLDIFE CRIMES IN VARIOUS LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES; OPERATION STELLA MARIS: SHARK FINS TRAFFICKING. THESE PROJECTS INCLUDE ALSO THE PRODUCTION OF CONFIDENTIAL INTELLIGENCE BRIEFS (CIB) FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND GOVERMENTAL AGENCIES, TO SUPPORT THEIR INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITIES, FACILITATE ARRESTS AND PROSECUTION, AND CONTRIBUTE TO CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS. WE PARTICIPATED TO VARIOUS CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS (ONLINE DUE TO COVID) ORGANZIED BY GOVERNMENTAL AND INTER-GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES.
WILDLEAKS.ORG: WILDLEAKS IS A STANDING PROJECT OF EARTH LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL. THROUGH THE WILDLEAKS'S TOR BASED WEBSITE, WE COLLECTED DOZENS OF ANONYMOUS SUBMISSIONS ABOUT WILDLIFE CRIME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. WE ASSESS AND ANALYZE EACH SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO DETERMINE A COURSE OF ACTION, SUCH AS SHARING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT OR THE MEDIA, OR INVESTIGATE OURSELVES. WE ALSO PUBLISHED THE FIRST WILDLEAKS REPORT, AVAILABLE ONLINE ON OUR WEBSITE.
COMMUNICATION & ADVOCACY: WE FINALIZED AN AGREEMENT WITH A TOP FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY IN THE US TO PRODUCE A DOCUMENTARY SERIES ABOUT EARTH LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL. WE ALSO LAUNCHED VARIOUS CAMPAIGNS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND WE COLLABORATED WITH MEDIA ON PODCASTS AND OTHER MEDIA PRODUCTS.
