CLEAN - REMOVED OVER 10,000 POUNDS OF MARINE DEBRIS VIA OVER 200 DIFFERENT TYPES OF BEACH CLEANUPS AND 4 TRASH SKIMMERS TO IMPROVE OCEAN HEALTH FROM THE SHORLEINE AND SURROUNDING AREAS OF AQUIDNECK ISLAND, RHODE ISLAND. 70,000 PEOPLE LIVE ON AQUIDNECK ISLAND AND BENEFIT FROM OUR WORK, AS WELL AS MILLIONS OF VISITORS EACH YEAR. LED A COMMUNITY-BASED DATA-DRIVEN CAMPAIGN TO ELIMINATE SINGLE USE PLASTIC BAGS FROM RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION HAS ONE PUBLICATION PER YEAR FOR THIS PROGRAM THAT SUMMARIZES THE TOTAL RESULT AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE.
