GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO SCHOOLS WITHIN THE DISTRICT TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR NORMAL OPERATING BUDGETS. THE GRANTS FACILITATE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT, RECOGNIZE AND ENCOURAGE STAFF EXCELLENCE AND EXPAND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FROM INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS. GRANT FUNDS ARE INTENDED TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE ULTIMATE BENEFIT OF STUDENTS IN THE DISTRICT AND MAY BE USED TO PURCHASE ITEMS SUCH AS (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): INSTRUCTIONAL EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, MATERIALS, AND TECHNOLOGY.
