INSTITUTED FIRST BORN PROGRAM- A UNIQUE HOME VISITING PROGRAM DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF FIRST-TIME NEW MEXICAN FAMILIES IN MCKINLEY AND SAN JUAN COUNTIES. TEACHING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AN INFANT'S DEVELOPMENT TO ENSURE A CHILD'S POSITIVE HEALTH, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

WE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO FAMILIES REGARDING CHILD DEVELOPMENT. WE CONTINUED TO OFFER SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PROVIDING GRANTS TO FAMILIES WHO NEEDED HELP WITH OVERDUE RENT, PAST DUE UTILITIES, OVERDUE MEDICAL BILLS, AND OTHER NECESSITIES. WE CONTINUED THE FISCAL SPONSORSHIP TO CHIZH FOR CHEII AND FISCALLY SPONSORED A FOOD HUB IN THE SHIPROCK COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THE INCORPORATION OF TRADITIONAL FOODS IN FAMILY MEALS.
