COVID-19 CLINIC: AS THE SECOND WAVE OF COVID-19 SWEPT THROUGH INDIA, OXYGEN SHORTAGES LEFT THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS DYING IN THE STREETS. IMPACT NATIONS PARTNERED WITH LOCAL LEADERS AND A LOCAL HOSPITAL IN INDIA TO PROVIDE TWENTY OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS WHICH SAVED 5,000 LIVES.
SKILLS AND BUSINESS: IN 2021, IMPACT NATIONS PARTNERED WITH SKILLS AND BUSINESS TRAINING EXPERTS IN UGANDA, INDIA, AND NEPAL TO GIVE OVER 550 YOUNG ADULTS THE SKILLS THEY NEEDED TO START THEIR OWN BUSINESSES OR FIND RELIABLE, FAIR EMPLOYMENT AND PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES. SKILLS RANGING FROM SEWING TO SOAP MAKING TO GRAPHIC DESIGN AND VIDEOGRAPHY HAVE LAUNCHED STUDENTS FROM A LIFE OF POVERTY AND CRIME IN SLUMS AROUND THE WORLD TO PRODUCTIVITY, SELF-RESPECT, AND AMBITION.
FEEDING THE POOR: THROUGHOUT 2021, IMPACT NATIONS PARTNERED WITH CHURCHES AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO DISTRIBUTE PREPARED MEALS AND GROCERY PACKETS TO THOSE WHO WERE MOST EFFECTED BY PANDEMIC RELATED LOCKDOWNS AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS LIKE TYPHOONS. OVER 1 MILLION MEALS WERE PROVIDED IN SEVEN NATIONS: INDIA, NEPAL, PHILIPPINES, COLOMBIA, HAITI, BULGARIA, AND UGANDA.
