CONCERTS IN THE PARK - FOUR FAMILY-FRIENDLY CONCERTS HELD IN MAY, JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST 2015 TO PROMOTE THE THREE PILLARS OF THE FOUNDATION: RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RELIEF, AND NIGER, AFRICA (WELLS, ORPHANAGES, MICROBUSINESSES, EDUCATION, NUTRITION); 6,000 ADULTS AND CHILDREN BENEFITTED.
MGD DAY CARE IN NIGER, AFRICA - $7,000 WAS SENT TO HELP REBUILD AND PROVIDE FOOD AFTER AN ATTACK BY AN ISIS GROUP WHO STOLE ALL THE APPLICANCES AND SET FIRE TO THE DAY CARE AND ITS CONTENTS. 350 ADULTS AND CHILDREN BENEFITTED.
HANOVER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT - AS A DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PROJECT, WE RAISED AND DONATED $5000 TO PURCHASE CRISIS CARE KITS FOR THE HANOVER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. CRISIS CARE KITS ARE PLACED IN THE DEPUTY'S CARS AND CONTAIN BASIC MEDICAL SUPPLIES THAT COULD SAVE LIVES WHEN A DEPUTY IS THE FIRST TO ARRIVE ON THE SCENE OF A CAR ACCIDENT, SHOOTING, FIRE, NATURAL DISASTER AND MORE. 50 DEPUTIES BENEFITTED.
VARIOUS OTHER PROGRAMS ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND DONATIONS ARE MADE TO VARIOUS OTHER DOMESTIC ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE VALUES ALIGN WITH THE FOUNDATION'S.
