NEW MEXICO RESILIENCY ALLIANCE'S MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN THE RESILIENCY OF NMS RURAL AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES THROUGH MOBILIZING AND LEVERAGING RESOURCES AND COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE ECONOMIC VIBRANCY AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF ITS RESIDENTS.

NEW MEXICO RESILIENCY ALLIANCE PROVIDES SMALL SEED GRANTS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AROUND THE STATE, INCLUDING FOR PROJECTS ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY, IMPROVING PUBLIC SPACES, AND FAMILY ECONOMIC SECURITY/COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION PROJECTS. A TOTAL OF $36,000 IN GRANTS WERE PROVIDED IN 2023. NMRA PARTNERS WITH THE NEW MEXICO MAINSTREET PROGRAM (NM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPT.) TO COORDINATE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR GRANT-FUNDED PROJECTS, MAXIMIZING IMPACT OF SEED GRANTS. THESE GRANTS LEVERAGED OVER $27,000 IN CASH MATCHES, $36,000 IN IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS AND OVER 1,700 VOLUNTEER HOURS TO SUPPORT PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY.NMRA ALSO PARTNERS WITH THE NEW MEXICO MAINSTREET IN THE DELIVERY OF TRAINING INSTITUTES AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS IN VARIOUS NM COMMUNITIES ON TOWN REVITALIZATION, HISTORIC PRESERVATION, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, PROMOTIONS AND ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT. THE GENERAL PUBLIC WAS SERVED.
