SYMPOSIUM REGISTRATION - SERVE THE PRODUCERS AND USERS OF DISTILLERS GRAINS BY ADVOCATING THE HIGH QUALITY AND INCREASING THE AWARENESS OF THE VALUE OF DISTLLERS GRAINS. TO COLLECT, COMPILE, AND DISTRIBUTE INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT OF PRODUCTION, PROPERTIES, AND UTILIZATION OF DISTILLERS GRAIN (CO-PRODUCTS). PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE MEMBERSHIPS AND SYMPOSIUM REGISTRATIONS.
SYMPOSIUM SCHOLARSHIP - MEMBER COMPANIES SPONSOR A $500 SCHOLARSHIP FOR DIFFERENT RESEARCH STUDENTS. STUDENTS SUBMIT THEIR RESEARCH, THEN THE SPONSORING COMPANY LOOKS AT THE MATERIAL SUBMITTED AND DETERMINE WHICH APPLICANT(S) WILL RECEIVE THE SCHOLARSHIP. THE REQUIREMENT TO APPLY ARE: UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENT DOING RESEARCH IN THE RELATED FIELDS OF DISTILLERS GRAINS/ETHANOL.
