PROVIDE NONPARTISAN TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN TO INCREASE CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND LEADERSHIP IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.

SINCE 2014, VOTERUNLEAD HAS TRAINED MORE THAN 55,000 WOMEN TO RUN FOR OFFICE AND WIN NEARLY 60% OF WHOM ARE WOMEN OF COLOR AND 20% OF WHOM ARE FROM RURAL AMERICA. IN THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED ITS RUN AS YOU ARE EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP MODULE FOR WOMEN, WITH 363 RUN AS YOU ARE CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR OFFICE; 49% WERE WOMEN OF COLOR. OF THESE, 253 WERE ON THE BALLOT FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION, AND 171 PREVAILED FOR AN OVERALL WIN RATE OF 68%. FOR VOTERUNLEAD ALUMNAE RUNNING FOR STATE LEGISLATURE, 70% WON THEIR RACE, AS WELL AS 80% OF WOMEN OF COLOR WHO RAN FOR STATE LEGISLATURE. ADDITIONALLY, SIX VOTERUNLEAD ALUMNAE NOW SERVE IN CONGRESS.
