A FULLY REFERENCED COMPILATION OF THE EVIDENCE OUTLINING THE POWER, BENEFITS AND NECESSITY OF ECO-RESTORATIONTO ADDRESS GLOBAL WARMING. BRINGS TOGETHER FINDINGS FROM THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE, GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY REPORTS, AND JOURNALISTIC INVESTIGATIONS IT IS A PUBLIC, OPEN-ACCESS DOCUMENT THAT IS HOUSED ON THE WEBSITE OF BIODIVERSITY FOR A LIVABLE CLIMATE (WWW.BIO4CLIMATE.ORG)SERVED AT LEAST 500 PEOPLE
OUR STAFF SCIENTIST BEGAN A SERIES OF 12-SESSION 2-HOUR CLASSES ON BIODIVERSITY. THE CLASSES SERVED APPROXIMATELY 48 PEOPLE. THE PURPOSE IS TO DEEPEN PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF BIODIVERSITY AND CLIMATE, AND TO TRAIN STUDENTS TO BEGIN TO TEACH THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES
SPEAKERS ON VARIOUS ASPECTS OF BIODIVERSITY AND ECO-RESTORATION WITH A GLOBAL REACH THROUGH A COLLECTION OF ONLINE ARTICLES AND VIDEO PRESENTATIONS, INCLUDING WORLDWIDE VIEWS AND NUMEROUS POSTS ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO INFORM ABOUT THE POWER OF THE NATURAL WORLD TO ADDRESS DIVERSITY LOSS AND CLIMATE DISRUPTION.
