DISTRICT PDTHE FOUNDATION PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES IN-PERSON AND VIRTUALLY TO 31 DISTRICTS TO SUPPORT EDUCATOR SUCCESS IN THE K-12 CLASSROOM. SERVICES COVERED A VARIETY OF TOPICS INCLUDING MATH CONTENT, INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES, AND CLASSROOM COACHING. APPROXIMATELY 2,700 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED OVER 98 DAYS IN THESE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.
ILLUSTRATIVE MATHEMATICSTHE MATH SPECIALISTS ARE CERTIFIED FACILITATORS FOR ILLUSTRATIVE MATHEMATICS AND PROVIDE IM PROFESSIONAL LEARNING TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS WANTING TO IMPLEMENT THE IM CURRICULUM IN THEIR SCHOOLS. WE PROVIDED 79 DAYS OF VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL LEARNING AND 23 DAYS IN-PERSON AT A SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH A TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 3,700 ATTENDEES.
WORKSHOPSTHE FOUNDATION CONDUCTED 17 DAYS OF IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS AND 11 DAYS OF VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS TO INCREASE EDUCATOR KNOWLEDGE IN A VARIETY OF K-12 EDUCATION AND MATH CONTENT AREAS. 130 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE WORKSHOPS.
COGNITIVE COACHINGTHE FOUNDATION CONDUCTED AN 8-DAY COGNITIVE COACHING SEMINARS FOUNDATION TRAINING TO HELP EDUCATORS DEVELOP MEDIATION SKILLS AND STRATEGIES THAT ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING. 32 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE IN-HOUSE TRAINING, 133 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE IN-DISTRICT TRAININGS.
