IN 2021 CIRCLE A RESCUED 83 HORSES. AFTER THEIR BAIL WAS PAID TO THE KILL PENS, WE HAVE TO PAY FOR QUARANTINE FOR A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS, PAY TO HAVE THEM TRANSPORTED TO THE BARN, WHERE WE HAVE TO PAY TO CARE FOR THEM INCLUDING VETS, MEDICINES, HAY, GRAIN, FARRIER, MEDICATION AND OTHER EQUINE SUPPLIES TO REHABILITATE THEM TO BE ADOPTED.
EQUINE FACILITATED LEARNING (EFL) PROGRAM MATCHES AT-RISK CHILDREN WITH RESCUED HORSES FOR THERAPY. IN 2021 MORE THAN 767 CHILDREN WENT THROUGH THE PROGRAM AT NO COST TO THEM. WE WORK WITH YOUTH CRISIS CENTERS, SHELTERS AND BEHAVIOR CENTERS. WE PARTNER WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS AND HAVE WORKED WITH OVER 3,000 CHILDREN.
