END ALLERGIES TOGETHER (E.A.T.) IS SOLELY FOCUSED ON RAISING MONEY FOR PROMISING FOOD ALLERGY RESEARCH. FOOD ALLERGY IS OFTEN A LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION AFFECTING 220 MILLION PEOPLE WORLDWIDE AND 32 MILLION IN THE U.S. EVERY 2 MINUTES THERE IS A VISIT TO THE ER DUE TO A FOOD-INDUCED ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION. WITHOUT IMMEDIATE ACCESS AND TREATMENT WITH EPINEPHRINE, ANAPHYLAXIS CAN QUICKLY TURN FATAL. FOOD ALLERGIES ARE NOW AN EPIDEMIC WITH THE DIAGNOSIS RATE DOUBLING EVERY TEN YEARS.
