OUR SERVICES, WHICH INCLUDE: INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP FOR MISSION AS TRANSFORMATION - INFEMIT EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND SUPPORT. OUR SERVICES, WHICH INCLUDE: HOLDING CONFERENCES, PRODUCING PUBLICATIONS, WRITING CURRICULUM, SUPPORTING REGIONAL FELLOWSHIPS, AND RUNNING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND CONSULTATIONS FURTHER THIS PURPOSE BY ALLOWING US TO BRING TOGETHER MISSION-THEOLOGIANS FOR CROSS-REGIONAL DIALOGUE AND BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, MODELS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO VARIOUS REGIONS. CENTER OF INTERDISCIPLINARY THEOLOGICAL STUDIES (CETI): IN LATIN AMERICA, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES THEOLOGICAL FORMATION FOR ADULTS FROM ALL DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND OCCUPATIONS THROUGH BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON STUDIES. THE PROGRAM'S GOAL IS TO NURTURE COMMUNITIES AND LEADERS IN HOLISTIC, AUTHENTIC, AND TRANSFORMATIVE FORMS OF LIVING OUT THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND GOD'S JUSTICE IN THE LATIN AMERICAN CONTEXT. IT PROVIDES STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXAMINE THEIR WORK AND VOCATION, FAMILY LIFE, THEIR PLACE IN SOCIETY, AND THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY OF FAITH IN LIGHT OF GOD'S WORD, CHURCH HISTORY, THEOLOGY, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES. AT A POSTGRADUATE LEVEL, CETI CONTINUED TO OFFER AN ONLINE MASTER'S PROGRAM IN "TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP" IN CONJUNCTION WITH BAKKE GRADUATE UNIVERSITY. A TOTAL OF 13 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN THE MASTER'S COURSES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, WE CELEBRATED THE GRADUATION OF 14 STUDENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS PROGRAMS, 11 WITH MASTER'S DEGREES AND 3 WITH DIPLOMAS. AT A POPULAR LEVEL, CETI NOW OFFERS TWO CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS IN VIDA&MISIÓN (LIFE&MISSION) AND CONTRACORRIENTE (COUNTERCURRENT). WE HAD AROUND 354 STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THESE PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT 2022, SPREAD BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: BRAZIL, BOLIVIA, ECUADOR, HONDURAS, EL SALVADOR, AND THE USA.
STOTT-BEDIAKO: THE STOTT-BEDIAKO EVENTS ARE SHORT CONFERENCES AND CONSULTATIONS ON ISSUES OF THE GOSPEL AND MISSION. IN 2022, INFEMIT HOSTED EVENTS ON THE TOPIC: "JESUS AND EMPIRE: CHRISTIAN WITNESS IN THE CONTEXT OF POWER." THE FIRST EVENT WAS A CONSULTATION HELD WITH A SMALL WORKING GROUP OF CONTRIBUTORS IN WHEATON, IL. TWELVE PARTICIPANTS ATTENDED IN PERSON, AND THEY WERE JOINED BY ANOTHER SIX PEOPLE ONLINE. THE WORK OF THE CONSULTATION HELPED PREPARE FOR THE PUBLIC FORUM, WHICH WAS HELD ONLINE AND IN-PERSON IN ARAD, ROMANIA IN OCTOBER 2022. THOSE REGISTERED FOR THE FORUM NUMBERED 155 IN TOTAL; FROM 43 COUNTRIES IN EVERY REGION OF THE WORLD. THE FORUM ALSO INCLUDED PRESENTATIONS BY 29 PEOPLE. OUTCOMES OF THE EVENT INCLUDED SEVERAL PIECES OF CONTENT: INTERVIEWS, PAPERS, AND VIDEOS PUBLISHED AND AVAILABLE ONLINE TO THE PUBLIC; AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES FOR NETWORKING AND BUILDING FELLOWSHIP AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS.
REGIONAL SUPPORT: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS AND REGIONAL FELLOWSHIPS IN THE FORM OF SPEAKERS OR PARTICIPANTS' TRAVEL TO REGIONAL CONSULTATIONS AND SMALL MEMBERSHIP FEES AND DONATIONS. IN 2022, INFEMIT CONTINUED OUR INITIATIVE TO CONNECT GROUPS OF THEOLOGIAN-PRACTITIONERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE IN MONTHLY ONLINE FELLOWSHIP. INFEMIT USED ITS STOTT-BEDIAKO FORUM TO STRENGTHEN AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS AND DEEPEN PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORGANIZATIONS LIKE TEARFUND. MEMBERS OF INFEMIT ALSO SOUGHT TO REVITALIZE IMPORTANT REGIONAL FELLOWSHIPS, PARTICULARLY THE AFRICAN THEOLOGICAL FELLOWSHIP WHICH HAS BEEN SOMEWHAT INACTIVE IN RECENT YEARS, AS WELL AS A FELLOWSHIP OF THEOLOGIAN-PRACTITIONERS IN EUROPE. SEVERAL MEMBERS OF INFEMIT PARTICIPATED IN THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MISSIOLOGY. INFEMIT MEMBERS ALSO CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO REGIONAL EVENTS THROUGH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON PRESENTATIONS; WE ALSO STRENGTHENED OUR NETWORK OF PARTNERSHIPS BY REGULARLY CURATING A NEWSLETTER WITH INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PARTNERS.
