HPC PROVIDED MINISTERIAL ASSISTANCE TO PREACHERS AND LEADERS IN HAITI, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, UKRAINE, RUSSIA, KYRGYZSTAN, KAZAKHSTAN, UZBEKISTAN, AND MOLDOVA. IN HAITI, A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND WAS PROVIDED FOR 6 LEADERS IN THEIR CHURCH ORGANIZATION. A SMALL AMOUNT OF SUPPORT WAS PROVIDED FOR A YOUNG NURSING STUDENT, AND VISA COSTS WERE UNDERWRITTEN SO SOME OF THESE INDIVIDUALS COULD MAKE A TRIP TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND WAS PROVIDED FOR A FIELD DIRECTOR AND MINISTRY TRAINING INSTITUTE DIRECTOR, AND FUNDS WERE SENT TO COVER MINIMAL OPERATIONAL EXPENSES EACH MONTH. IN UKRAINE, 3 NATIONAL WORKERS WERE GIVEN A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND. OFFICE EQUIPMENT WAS PURCHASED, AND FUNDS WERE SENT TO HELP WITH VARIOUS YOUTH ACTIVITIES. RELIEF FUNDS WERE SENT TO HELP WITH NEEDS RESULTING FROM THE WAR WITH RUSSIA. IN OTHER EURASIAN COUNTRIES, 6 NATIONAL WORKERS WERE GIVEN SMALL STIPENDS, MONTHLY OR OTHERWISE.
HPC PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR 2 STUDENTS IN HAITI, AND FOR THE CHILDREN OF ONE OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC LEADERS. DOCTRINAL MATERIALS WERE TRANSLATED AND/OR PRINTED IN FRENCH FOR DISTRIBUTION IN HAITI. FUNDS WERE SENT TO PURCHASE PRINTING EQUIPMENT TO BE USED IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. DOCTRINAL MATERIALS WERE TRANSLATED AND/OR PRINTED IN RUSSIAN, UKRAINIAN, GEORGIAN, KYRGYZ, KAZAKH, MOLDOVAN, ARMENIAN, UZBEK, AND TURKISH FOR DISTRIBUTION IN SEVERAL EURASIAN COUNTRIES.
