HPC PROVIDED MINISTERIAL ASSISTANCE TO PREACHERS AND LEADERS IN HAITI, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, UKRAINE, RUSSIA, MOLDOVA, KYRGYZSTAN, BULGARIA, AND GEORGIA. IN HAITI, A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND WAS PROVIDED FOR A FIELD DIRECTOR AND FOR 4 REPRESENTATIVES IN THEIR ORGANIZATION, AND A DIRECTOR FOR A TRAINING INSTITUTE. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND AND SOME ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED FOR A MINISTRY TRAINING INSTITUTE DIRECTOR, AND FOR A TEACHER. IN UKRAINE, 3 NATIONAL WORKERS WERE GIVEN A SMALL MONTHLY STIPEND, AND FUNDS WERE SENT FROM TIME TO TIME FOR THOSE ASSISTING THEM, AND FOR ANOTHER NATIONAL WORKER. IN OTHER EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, 6 NATIONAL WORKERS WERE GIVEN SMALL STIPENDS, MONTHLY OR OTHERWISE.


HPC PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THE TRANSLATION AND/OR PRINTING OF DOCTRINAL MATERIALS IN CREOLE, UKRAINIAN, BULGARIAN, GEORGIAN, MOLDOVAN, KYRGYZ, AND KAZAKH FOR DISTRIBUTION IN HAITI, THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, AND SEVERAL EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES.


FUNDS WERE SENT FOR THE OPERATION OF A TRAINING INSTITUTE IN HAITI. HPC PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR 35-40 STUDENTS IN HAITI AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
