WE OFFER AN ENVIRONMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY SUICIDE RISK AND SUICIDE LOSS, UTILIZING A COMBINATION OF COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. OUR APPROACH FOLLOWS A DUAL-PROCESS MODEL, INCORPORATING BOTH RESTORATIVE AND THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMMING. AT THE CORE OF OUR INITIATIVES IS OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM, CAMP KITA-A FREE SUMMER CAMP DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF SOMEONE TO SUICIDE. THE CAMP PROVIDES EACH CHILD WITH A NETWORK OF PEERS & PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS TO HELP THEM BETTER UNDERSTAND THE UNIQUE FEELING OF LOSS THAT SUICIDE LEAVES BEHIND ON ITS SURVIVORS.
