THE LONG-TERM QUALITY ALLIANCE'S (LTQA) MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE AVAILABILITY, AFFORDABILITY, AND ACCESS TO HIGH-QUALITY, PERSON- AND FAMILY-CENTERED, CONSUMER-EMPOWERING, COORDINATED LTSS BY: BUILDING THE EVIDENCE BASE SUPPORTING LTSS AND LTSS INTEGRATION; EDUCATING AND ENGAGING PUBLIC- AND PRIVATE-SECTOR STAKEHOLDERS; AND CONVENING STAKEHOLDERS AROUND INNOVATIVE MODELS THAT ACHIEVE BETTER OUTCOMES, REDUCE EXPENDITURES, AND PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR FINANCING LTSS BY INTEGRATING MEDICAL CARE, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, AND LTSS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

A PILOT PROJECT TO DEVELOP DATA COLLECTION TO MEASURE LTSS NEED AND SERVICE USE OF WORKING-AGE ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. THROUGH THIS PROJECT, LTQA IS BUILDING UPON AN EXISTING NATIONAL SURVEY (ADMINISTERED AT THE STATE LEVEL, AS WELL AS, COLLECTING AND ANALYZING DATE AVAILABLE FROM A VARIETY OF STATE-LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE DATA BASES. THE PROJECT WILL FOCUS ON APPROACHES THAT COULD ANSWER SPECIFIC QUESTIONS RAISED AND CURRENTLY UNANSWERED - IN THE POLICY PROCESS.EXPLORING THE FEASIBILITY OF PROGRAMS THAT WOULD ASSIST OLDER ADULTS TO STAY IN THEIR HOMES AS THEY AGE AND THEIR LONG-TERM CARE NEEDS INCREASE.RESEARCH THE EXPANSION OF NON-MEDICAL SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS IN MEDICARE ADVANTAGE; AND SUPPORT THE GROWTH IN ADOPTION OF MEANINGFUL, NEW SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS.
