CONNECT - DSDN HOSTS ANNUAL RETREATS FOR MOMS AND DADS (SEPARATELY) OF CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME TO ALLOW THEM TO CONNECT, BE INSPIRED, RECHARGE, AND WORK ON SERVICE PROJECTS FOR FUTURE EXPECTANT AND NEW PARENTS. THE RETREATS ARE A 2-DAY EVENT WITH MEALS INCLUDED, MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS, PAMPERING SESSIONS, AND ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE CONNECTION AMONGST ATTENDEES. REVENUE LISTED ABOVE INCLUDES REGISTRATION AND ACTIVITY FEES, EXHIBITOR FEES, AND RETREAT SPONSORSHIPS.

SUPPORT - DSDN PROVIDES SUPPORT TO EXPECTANT AND NEW FAMILIES THROUGH ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS, WHICH ARE NOW PART OF A DSDN MOBILE APP. DSDN ALSO PROVIDES PREGNANCY GIFTS, NEW BABY GIFTS, AND WELCOME GIFTS WHEN A NEW FAMILY JOINS OUR COMMUNITY, AS WELL AS CARE PACKAGES WHEN A CHILD IS IN THE HOSPITAL, AND MEMORIAL GIFTS WHEN A CHILD PASSES AWAY. EACH YEAR, DSDN ALSO OFFERS ADOPTION GRANTS FOR FAMILIES IN THE PROCESS OF ADOPTING A CHILD WITH DOWN SYNDROME. ALSO PART OF OUR SUPPORT SERVICES, DSDN OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND THE DSDN ROCKIN' MOM AND ROCKIN' DAD RETREATS. DSDN ALSO AWARDED GRANTS TO LOCAL DOWN SYNDROME ORGANIZATIONS.
