THE WISC FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM HOSTED 22 ARTISTS AND SCHOLARS AS FELLOWS-IN-RESIDENCE. . ACEQUIA MADRE HOUSE SERVES AS THE HOME OF THE WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL STUDY CENTER (WISC). WISC OPERATES ITS PROGRAMS OUT OF THE ACEQUIA MADRE HOUSE AND HOLDS AN OFFICE ON THE PROPERTY. WISC WAS CREATED TO CARRY THE LEGACY INTO THE FUTURE OF THE "THREE WISE WOMEN" WHO BUILT THE ACEQUIA MADRE HOUSE BY SUPPORTING WOMEN IN ARTS, SCIENCES, CULTURAL PRESERVATION, AND PHILANTHROPY.
