IN THE INDOOR CLASSROOM, LIGHTING, TEMPERATURE, AND NOISE LEVEL ARE KEPT WITHIN A CONSTANT RANGE. ROOMS ARE ARRANGED INTO CENTERS CONTAINING MOSTLY SYNTHETIC MATERIALS THAT CAN BE EASILY CLEANED AND CONTAINED. CREATIVE WAYS TO WORK WITH THESE MATERIALS ARE LIMITED BY THEIR DESIGN. LEARNING EXPERIENCES ARE LIMITED BY THE CONSTRAINTS OF THE SPACE AND BY THE MATERIALS OF LIMITED COMPLEXITY.
