CAMP TO SUCCESS (FORMERLY CAMP SUMMER DREAMS) IS A NON-PROFIT, ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BUILDING RESILIENCY, SELF-AWARENESS, SELF-ESTEEM AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN YOUNG GIRLS (RESIDING IN BEXAR COUNTY), REGARDLESS OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC STATUS. GIRLS ARE EMPOWERED TO REACH THEIR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL THROUGH A SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURE AND YEAR-ROUND MENTORING PROGRAM.

CAMP TO SUCCESS WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE 60 GIRLS WITH A SPRING WEEKEND GETAWAY FROM MARCH 23-24, 2019. THE SPRING WEEKEND EVENT WAS HELD AT THE CAMP TO SUCCESS BASECAMP IN SAN ANTONIO, TX. THE SPRING WEEKEND GIVES THE GIRLS THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET AWAY AND EXPERIENCE FOCUSED PROGRAMMING AS WELL AS STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES GEARED TOWARDS GROWING THEM AS INDEPENDENT THINKERS AND PROBLEM SOLVERS. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED TENNIS, YOGA, GAGA BALL, BASKETBALL AND FELLOWSHIP.
CAMP TO SUCCESS PROVIDED A GOODBYE PARTY FOR 62 FAMILIES ON JUNE 22, 2019. FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT THE MANY MEMORIES THEY CREATED AT CAMP TO SUCCESS WHILE ENJOYING LUNCH.
CAMP TO SUCCESS PAID CANCELLATION FEES FOR SUMMER CAMP AFTER IT WAS DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE THE NON-PROFIT.
THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, CAMP TO SUCCESS SPONSORED NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS THAT PROVIDED YOUNG GIRLS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND IMPROVE SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF-AWARENESS.
