PASS THE TORCH FOR WOMEN FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT CREATES A UNIQUE AND POWERFUL COMMUNITY GALVANIZED BY A SHARED BELIEF IN THE VALUE OF WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP. OUR APPROACH IN SUPPORTING WOMEN THROUGHOUT THEIR CAREER PATHWAYS WITH MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS, NETWORKING, AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING SETS US APART FROM OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. OUR MENTORING PROGRAM BELIEVES THAT ALL WOMEN SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO PROFESSIONAL GROWTH. WE ARE A COMMUNITY THAT PASSES THE TORCH THROUGH MENTORING, CONNECTING, AND INVESTING IN WOMEN AT ALL STAGES OF THEIR CAREERS.

PASS THE TORCH FOR WOMEN FOUNDATION OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO A NATIONWIDE MENTORING PROGRAM FOR FEMALE COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT GROW PROGRAM. THE WOMEN RECEIVE STRATEGIC, PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, ALIGNED WITH UNIQUE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, ACCESS TO EXECUTIVES DEDICATED TO MENTORING ON A ONE ON ONE BASIS. THE PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE COURSES ON LEADERSHIP, NEGOTIATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, FINANCIAL EDUCATION, AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING, IN ADDITION TO CONNECTIONS WITH KEY DECISION MAKERS IN BUSINESS. THE OUTCOME IS THAT THE WOMEN SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION FROM THE COLLEGE ENVIRONMENT INTO THE BUSINESS WORLD AND TO ULTIMATELY GROW WOMEN LEADERS. OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS ENABLE US TO FACILIATE OUR MENTORING PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, CREATE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, AND CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR RESOURCE OFFERINGS TO ACHIEVE OUR VISION OF A WORLD OF EQUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN WITH DEMONSTRATED NEED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: SINGLE MOTHERS, WOMEN IN TRANSITION, FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS, AND COLLEGE STUDENTS.
