TO HONOR THE LIVES OF SOPHIE AND MADIGAN LILLARD BY BUILDING A MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES TO PLAY, LEARN AND CREATE LIFELONG MEMORIES TOGETHER, AND IN WAYS THAT REFLECT THE BEAUTIFUL PERSONALITIES AND SPIRITS OF THESE TWO SISTERS.

PLAY, LEARN, AND CREATE EVENT. SPRING FLING WAS A FREE EVENT AT THE PLAYGROUND WITH AN EGG HUNT AND VENDORS WITH FREE ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS. THIS PROJECT BENEFITTED APPROXIMATELY 300 KIDS.
PLAY, LEARN, AND CREATE EVENT. B THE GOOD PROJECT BROUGHT MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH TO THE ONCOLOGY AND NICU FLOORS AT CHILDREN'S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED IN WASHINGTON, DC. THIS PROJECT BENEFITTED 115 MOTHERS AND CAREGIVERS OF PATIENTS.
SOPHIE AND MADIGAN LILLARD MEMORIAL PARK: LANDSCAPING WAS PLANTED AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF PHASE 1 AND 2 AT THE PLAYGROUND ALONG WITH ANNUAL CLEANUP OF THE ENTIRE PLAYGROUND. PHASE 1 AND 2 OF THE PLAYGROUND PROVIDE A DESTINATION PLAYGROUND LOCATED IN FREDERICK COUNTY, MARYLAND. THE ENTIRE PARK IS PROJECTED TO BENEFIT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VISITORS EACH YEAR.
