CENTRAL INDIANA CLUBHOUSE IS A LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTER THAT OFFERS HOPE FOR MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING AND A FRESH START IN LIFE. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP ADULTS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS REJOIN THE WORLDS OF FRIENDSHIP, FAMILY, WORTHWHILE EMPLOYMENT, AND EDUCATION AND ALSO PROVIDE ACCESS TO SERVICES AND SUPPORTS THEY MAY NEED AS AN INDIVIDUAL IN A NON-JUDGMENTAL WORLD. CENTRAL INDIANA CLUBHOUSE IS STRUCTURED AROUND A WORK-ORDERED DAY. THIS ALLOWS MEMBERS TO GET OUT, BE AROUND OTHERS, AND PARTICIPATE IN A WEEK-DAY WORK GROUP. WE OFFER PROGRAMS-NOT RECREATION-DURING NORMAL WORK DAY HOURS THEN SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AT LEAST ONE EVENING A WEEK AND SOME WEEKENDS. PROGRAMS INCLUDE MEAL PREPARATION, CARE OF THE CLUBHOUSE, JOB TRAINING, AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT. WE EMPOWER OUR MEMBERS AND ENCOURAGE EACH OF THEM TO USE CLUBHOUSE HOW THEY SEE FIT FOR THEIR RECOVERY PROCESS. THEY ARE ABLE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR LIVES, REQUIRING THAT THEY BE PART OF THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS FOR EVERYTHING INVOLVED IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
