THE PURSUITS OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING ARE REWARDING AND ENGAGING EXPERIENCES WHICH, UNFORTUNATELY, MOST STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO FULLY EXPLORE. WE EXIST TO HELP BRING THAT OPPORTUNITY TO ALL STUDENTS, OF ALL AGES. SUMMER BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE 2016 -SBEE IS AN ENGAGING, COLLEGE-LEVEL PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION ABOUT A CAREER IN BIOENGINEERING. STUDENTS CAN EXPECT FULL IMMERSION IN AN ACADEMIC BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENT SURROUNDED BY PEERS, PROFESSORS, AND RESEARCHERS. HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES AND GUIDED INSTRUCTION WILL GIVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THIS EXCITING FIELD. BENEFITED 99 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.

HIGH SCHOOL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM - KEPLER PROGRAM -NOW OPEN TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, TSOG MENTORSHIP PROVIDES A WEEKLY CLASS SCHEDULE COVERING A VARIETY OF FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING DESIGNED TO HELP PREPARE STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS IN INDEPENDENT PROJECTS AND UNIVERSITY STUDIES. MENTORSHIP STUDENTS ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND APPLY KNOWLEDGE IN MANY FIELDS OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING IN A FRIENDLY LAB ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY CAN IMMERSE THEMSELVES UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF TRAINED INSTRUCTORS, STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS.
