REMEMBER THE POOR, INC. IS A NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE GOAL IS TO GIVE MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE WORKING POOR AND DESTITUTE IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES; (WORTHY POOR BEING DEFINED AS HARD-WORKING, INDUSTRIOUS, HIGHLY MOTIVATED POOR). THE GOAL IS TO BETTER THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING, CUSHION THEIR HARDSHIPS AND BRING THEM HOPE THROUGH SINCERE HELPING HANDS COUPLED WITH THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. FOOD AID DURING DROUGHT AND PRIVATION, MEDICAL AID, EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE, LAND AND HOUSING, SEED FOR PLANTING, FUNDING WOMEN FOR SMALL BUSINESS INITIATIVES, EVANGELISM AND RELIEF WORK, AND HELPING TO SHELTER AND EDUCATE STREET CHILDREN AND OTHER WORKS ARE ALL DONE IN JESUS NAME TO THE GLORY OF GOD. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO HELP THESE PEOPLE BECOME FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT AND CAPABLE OF HELPING OTHERS IN UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES AS THEY HAVE BEEN HELPED.
