WE ARE A PUBLIC AND PRIVATELY FUNDED NON-PROFIT ORANIZATION ASSISTING NEW AND EXISTING OPERATIONS TO FOSTER GROWTH IN THE INDUSTRY.

SUPPORTING AND PARTNERING WITH NEW AND EXISTING AGRIBUSINESS. AGRICULTURE IS A UNIQUE INDUSTRY AND AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF HENDERSON COUNTY'S LOCAL ECONOMY, MAKING UP APPROXIMATELY 20% OF ITS GROSS PRODUCT. THE PRESIDENT/CEO OF AGRIBUSINESS HENDERSON COUNTY WILL SPEND THE MOST TIME PROVIDING GENERAL SUPPORT FOR THE INDUSTRY, WHICH IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE ECONOMIC STATE OF LOCAL AGRIBUSINESS. MEMBERSHIP AND THE BOARD OF THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT. THE OVERALL SUPPORT INCLUDES TRACKING RULES AND REGULATIONS THAT IMPACT FARMING, SHARING THAT INFORMATION, ADVOCATING FOR AGRICULTURE, INDENTIFYING GRANT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS ENGAGED IN AGRIBUSINESS AND COORDINATING FARM RELATED PROJECTS AND EVENTS THAT PROMOTE AGRIBUSINESS.
