CAWA OPERATES PAWPRINTS THRIFT BOUTIQUE, WHICH IS AN ALL VOLUNTEER, NON-PROFIT THAT FUNDS TWO SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAMS. THE FIRST PROGRAM (NCA) FUNDS THE TRAPPING, NEUTER AND RETURN/RELEASE OF STRAY/FERAL CATS IN THE COMMUNITY. THE SECOND PROGRAM (P-SNAP) HELPS THE PUBLIC WITH ALTERING THEIR PERSONAL PETS.

PAWPRINTS P-SNAP SAPY/NEUTER VOUCHER PROGRAM PROVIDED $21405 IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO ALTER THEIR PETS OR TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR CRITICAL MEDICAL NEEDS AT TIMES. IN 2021 WE PROVIDED HELP IN THE FOLLOWING WAY: CATS: 268 DOGS: 125 MEDICAL: 67


NEIGHBORHOOD CAT ADVOCATES (NCA) PROVIDED $118223 IN VETERINARY CARE AND NEEDED SUPPLIES TOWARDS OUR TNR ASSISTANCE TO THE COMMUNITY IN 2021. TNR: 14787.


REHOMING PROGRAM - YOUNGER KITTENS THAT ARE TRAPPED MAY ALSO BE FOSTERED AND SOCIALIZED BY VOLUNTEERS IN AN ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE THEM A LOVING HOME AS A PET RATHER THAN RETURN THEM TO CONTINUE THEIR LIVES AS FERAL CATS. AS WELL AS THE EXPENSES INCURRED BY HOSING, TAMING, PROVIDING VET CARE, ETC. WE ALSO MAY INCUR AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO TRANSFER THESE KITTENS TO THE LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY. KITTENS TRANSFERRED FOR A FEE: 46, KITTENS TRANSFERRED TO OTHER AGENCIES: OVER 333.
