IN 2021 THE WAUNAKEE ECUMENICAL BOARD INC PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 44 UNDERPRIVILEGED HOUSEHOLDS IN THE WAUNAKEE AREA FOR SUCH THINGS AS RENT, UTILITIES, NECESSITIES, AND GAS ASSISTANCE. HOLIDAY PROGRAMS PROVIDE FOOD HELP AT THANKSGIVING TO 165 UNDERPRIVILEGED HOUSEHOLDS AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS AT CHRISTMAS TO 175 UNDERPRIVILEGED HOUSEHOLDS. THE BACK TO SCHOOL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM HELPS APPROXIMATELY 110 FAMILIES WITH PURCHASING SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR THEIR CHILDREN.
