THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON OTITIS MEDIA PROVIDED AN INTERNATIONAL FORUM TO ADVANCE THE FRONTIERS OF RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND PATIENT CARE AS THEY RELATE TO OTITIS MEDIA. THE SYMPOSIUM BRINGS TOGETHER INVESTIGATORS WHOSE RESEARCH AND CLINICAL INTERESTS ARE FOCUSED ON DISEASES OF THE MIDDLE EAR, INCLUDING OTOLARYNGOLOGISTS, PEDIATRICIANS, EPIDEMIOLOGISTS, PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS, AND OTHER EXPERTS FROM ALL CONTINENTS INTERESTED IN RELIEVING THE BURDEN OF OTITIS MEDIA AND ITS SEQUELAE FROM PATIENTS AND FAMILIES. THE SYMPOSIUM ALLOWS FOR THE PRESENTATIONS OF NEW INFORMATION, THE STIMULATION OF NEW AND PRODUCTIVE RESEARCH, THE REVIEW OF CURRENT INVESTIGATIONS, AND CONSIDERATION TO THE MOST PRODUCTIVE AVENUE FOR FUTURE RESEARCH. THE 2021 SYMPOSIUM WAS HELD VIRTUALLY.
