PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES:HIRED A NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN SEPTEMBER 2021. HIRED 5 INITIAL RECOVERY SUPPORT PEER SPECIALISTS, INCLUDING 1 RE-ENTRY RSPS. PROVIDED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES TO 387 NEW UNDUPLICATED INDIVIDUALS IN 2021. DEVELOPED MOUS WITH MULTIPLE AGENCIES TO PROVIDE RECIPROCAL SERVICES THAT INCLUDE MOBILE OUTREACH, HARM REDUCTION SUPPORT, AND FIELD COACHING TO INDIVIDUALS THAT USE SUBSTANCES INTRAVENOUSLY AND MAY BE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS OR HOUSING INSTABILITY.
EDUCATION: EXPANDED THE POTENTIAL PEER RECOVERY WORKFORCE IN TEXAS BY TRAINING 96 NEW INITIAL RECOVERY SUPPORT PEER SPECIALISTS AND 3 PEER SPECIALIST SUPERVISORS. CULTIVATED RELATIONSHIP WITH PEERFORCE, WITH 30 PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO ENTER THE PEER WORKFORCE. PROVIDED 7 NEW RSPS INTERNS THEIR 250 SUPERVISED HOURS.
