ATLANTA SCHOLA CANTORUM IS A MIXED CHORUS OF AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS WHO VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME AND TALENTS. THE ENSEMBLE SPECIALIZES IN THE PERFORMANCE OF RENAISSANCE POLYPHONY NOTABLY THE WORKS OF PALESTRINA VICTORIA TALLIS AND BYRD. ATLANTA SCHOLA CANTORUM INC. MANAGES AND OVERSEES THE OPERATION OF THE ATLANTA SCHOLA CANTORUM SINGING ENSEMBLE. REVENUE FOR SCHOLA'S OPERATIONS IS GENERATED FROM TICKET SALES TO ITS PERFORMANCES AND DUES PAID BY THE MEMBERS OF THE CHORUS. IN ADDITION SOME FUNDS ARE OBTAINED FROM DONATIONS FROM PATRONS AND GRANTS FROM ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE PERFORMING ARTS. THE PROCEEDS ARE USED TO PAY SCHOLA'S RECURRING EXPENSES. DUE TO COVID-19 ATLANTA SCHOLA COULD NOT REHEARSE OR PERFORM IN THE PAST FISCAL YEAR.
